Richard Walters BVSc MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon and Farm Animal Clinical Lead

Richard qualified from Bristol University in 2010 and after 2 years of mixed practice in West Wales he returned home to South Devon. He enjoys the challenge and variety of all creatures great and small but has a keen focus on farm animals. He is a BCVA accredited advisor for BVD, Johnes, TB and Milksure as well as being an approved advisor for the TB advisory service. Whilst none of the paperwork associated with all this advice is as fun as calving a cow he finds it rewarding to get to know the farmer and their animals and identify ways to keep their farms healthy and productive.
He keeps a small flock of 20 Shropshire breeding ewes, 3 suckler cows and 2 young daughters who keep him busy outside of work!
