CATS

We see cats of all breeds and ages at the surgery. The most important thing to do with a new cat or kitten is to ensure that he/she has had a health check and is vaccinated against the main infectious diseases of cats. We use the Purevax vaccines manufactured by Merial, as we believe they provide the best protection for your cats.

At the health check we can also advise on parasite control for fleas and worms. We stock all the major parasite control products on the market.

We recommend neutering of all cats that are not intended for breeding. We offer microchipping at a reduced rate, if your cat is chipped at the same time as he/she is neutered. This can generally be done from around 5-6 months of age.

We recommend feeding cats with a quality proprietary cat food e.g. Hills. See events page for special offers on Hills food.
